Our mission

Give Rise Studio ™  (GRS) is a creative community space that utilizes classes, practices, workshops and products to not only serve the community members that patron the studio, but also be a part of helping support local creatives and nonprofits /organizations that improve the lives of our community.  We believe that creativity and health promotes compassion, confidence and joy to become a catalyst for positive change.

We are so excited to offer Frederick a unique space that helps our community members through its gentle yoga offerings, creative classes, resources for enrichment, rental space and donations/services to local nonprofits and organizations.

the studio

Give Rise Studio is located at 106 North Market Street right next to Church Street Parking Garage, next to Starbucks and across from Firestones Restaurant and Market. The main entrance is on Market Street up a set of stairs that opens up to our Creative Loft. The Creative Loft is a light filled space with 18 foot ceilings, skylights, a cozy lounge area with access to the kitchen and bathroom downstairs. We provide seating for 32 guests, tables that adjust to 3 heights and assistance with set up and break down. For movement and yoga classes we have mats and props available.

Our Carriage House is downstairs and right next to the kitchen and bathroom. There is an exit/entrance in this room that is ground level, right next to the Church Street Parking garage entrance opening up to the Starbucks patio. We love this space for luncheons, smaller classes/events, work space and yoga classes for those that need ground floor access.

We are providing a blank canvas that can inspire creativity, health and joy. We researched but more importantly wrote down our ideal situation and needs for teaching and events and made sure to reflect that in our services, offerings and amenities. Both spaces can be rented separately as well as together (dates/times limited).
