About the event
Ages 5-10
In this class, we'll be embellishing some cozy fleece blankets (provided by us) with felt shapes and drawings while enjoying some hot chocolate! While we create, we'll learn about textile artists such as Faith Ringgold - who creates 'story quilts' that explore themes of civil rights and racism - and Vanessa Barragao who transforms waste into tapestries inspired by nature.
