About the event
Welcome to the lab - creative alchemists - this is where creativity holds space for your inner child to explore, expand, and express freely. Here you are invited to embrace intuitive creation, unburdened by expectations. Under the gentle guidance of Lauren, each session is woven with a delicate structure using monthly themes, prompts, and the rhythmic reminder to STOP BREATHE FEEL CREATE.
During Creative Flow Lab we will be…
- creating intuitively turning our “fodder” and scraps into meaningful creations
- exploring familiar materials, techniques, and skillsets, making this experience welcoming for all creative beings, regardless of experience - not sure what creative techniques and materials to use - join us sometime during the companion workshop, Explorations in Creativity Lab.
- providing a haven for the inner child to explore, expand, express. When the inner critic stirs, we acknowledge its presence, explore the emotions it stirs, then release and resume the act of creation
- development of visual language connected to intuition, emotions, and the senses
Each month, Lauren will be facilitating two labs - Explorations in Creativity Lab and Creative Flow Lab - you can enjoy these labs al a carte or together - as they are stand-alone snippets, allowing you to try new materials and techniques, hone certain skillsets, and create more intuitively - rather than classes meant to build upon each other. Packages will be available so you can choose which ones you would like participate in. Seasonal shifts and cycles will direct the themes of each month’s lab - encouraging a deeper connection to both our inner cycles and the rhythms of nature.
All levels welcome - ages 16+ (ages 14-16 may attend with an adult) - this is a safe & affirming space for all.
