About the event
Welcome! We are the facilitators of Sacred Sisters. In photo above: Nicole H, Nicole R, Amanda, Carrie, and Beccah (starting at the top, going clockwise). Together in September of 2022, Nicole H, Nicole R, Amanda, Beccah, and our other sister Ally founded Sacred Sisters. We have been holding this space ever since and have welcomed Carrie as a facilitator to support our community as well. We created this space because our hearts all yearned for the same thing: Sisterhood. A deep, playful, supportive, creative, courageous Sisterhood.
Women’s Circles are a tradition that goes way back within many different cultures. Often these circles involved song, dance, sharing, prayer, creating, teaching, caring, lifting up, laughing, and holding space for one another’s joys and sorrows. They involved women of all ages, and we invite women of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds to join our circle. It is so easy in this modern world to…
