About the event
Let’s take some time to slow down, rest, and connect. This is a great event to come to with your bestie, your significant other, or come alone and make a new friend!
Spend a magical Saturday evening in candlelight with Carrie Dennison as she leads you through a practice of self-care to help nourish the mind, body, and spirit. In this session, you will be guided through a practice of breathwork techniques to nourish the nervous system to prepare for relaxation and deep rest. These practices are working with the parasympathetic nervous system to invite your system to drop into safety and support. A balanced and responsive nervous system supports our overall health in mind, body, and spirit.
There will be time after the practice to connect through conversation while sharing warm tea. This will allow a little time for your body and mind to become more alert before you head home for the evening.
Please wear comfortable, cozy clothes as the yoga practice will not be intense so you probably won’t sweat. It’s nice to have to have cozy socks and a long sleeve shirt. You could even wear your PJs :-)
