3 collections of still life objects will be set up for us to hop around, sketch, paint, chat, or maybe you are looking for quiet creative time in community with others. Open ended to encourage improvising and creative set ups.

About the event
As you can tell, we love socials at the Studio. These are community events where you are not forced to interact but simply be, observe, listen and create in an inclusive and calming space.
Still Life Social will give us free reign to chose from still life stations, make your own, improvise and use communal mark makers or bring your own. We will provide some mark makers and paper stationed around the Studio since this isn't a technical class. We encourage you to bring along your favorites and maybe a sketchbook, canvas - anything goes.
On 4th of July, we know Downtown will be busy so we made it at a time to enjoy some quiet before the fireworks.
The Studio is nestled up against South Street on South Carroll where big events aren't overwhelming. We are right on the bus line (#50) as well.
